our first time to the riviera maya. hopefully not our last. the banyan tree mayakoba exceeded every possible expectation. we’ve never been treated better, never been spoiled more, never felt more relaxed. our own villa, a pool outside our bedroom door, a lagoon a few steps away, bike rides through rainforest and over bridges, sand like silk, an ocean as blue and warm as you’ll ever see and feel. mw
