the santa monica pier is fun. and beautiful. and chaotic. for better or for worse, it’s also a common location for engagement shoots. but i thought that it would still be a cool place to shoot, especially if i could put my own spin on it. grace and dominic flew in from new york for a quick weekend trip and i couldn’t have asked for more perfect subjects. we had a wonderful sunday afternoon, filled with lollipops and ringpops, abundant sunshine and a crisp, cool breeze. i’ll be flying to nyc later this year to photograph their wedding. i can’t wait. mw
