i’m incredibly honored to have been included in this years top 10 wedding photographers in the world by american photo magazine. if you had told me 4 years ago when margaux and i first started shooting weddings that this is where we’d be now, i wouldn’t have believed it. but we’ve had a tremendous journey thus far and we couldn’t be more appreciative of everyone who has been a part of the ride. so a huge thank you to our families, friends, colleagues and clients. we’re truly grateful. mw

The board will choose 20 couples and the public will vote for a winner (the public will be voting on you based on the information you provide so make it awesome!).
If you are one of the 20 couples chosen by the board, your profile will be put on our blog and the public & the board will vote to determine the winner. tulum lived up to the hype. sun-soaked beaches, warm water, fresh fish, papaya smoothies, bike rides, hammocks, baby-soft sand. it was wonderfully relaxing and rejuvenating. for those that have asked, we stayed at 2 different places: ahau tulum and coqui coqui. we loved both, though if you’re planning on going, make sure to do your research because they may not cater to everyone’s fancy (they skew on the rustic side). and definitely eat at hartwood — you can read more about this cool restaurant here, here and here. below, a few snaps from the trip. mw

our good friends joanna & alex recently had their bedroom made over (see it on her blog and on refinery 29) and i was honored to give them a print of mine to hang above their bed. the photograph was taken from the ferry on our way back from martha’s vineyard, one of my favorite places to get away. due to quite a few requests, i’ve now made it available in my shop! mw
